Olivia's MRI

Before the family reunion, Olivia spent a day at Shriner's & University Hospital completing the tests for the PT study she's been a part of for the last year. The next day she had an MRI. She wanted me to take pictures so she could see what she looked like while she was doing it.

At Movement Analysis Lab:

Waiting for MRI

Snuggling with Mom - "Mom, why do I have to keep coming here?"
Oh, such a hard question!

Austin waiting too (Austin & Nyah take turns going to the MRI's with us- you know, so they can see how much "fun" Olivia is having).

Sedation kicking in

Time to go in the MRI

Home - must eat bacon before going back to sleep!

Olivia being pampered by Jolie when mean mom wouldn't let her ride her bike.

Here is a look at Olivia's Feb 2013 MRI.

I'm ridiculously pleased with myself for being able to post this picture - I had to teach myself how to do some new things in Adobe, as well as figure out what kind of software I needed for our mac to be able to even look at the images. Take that computer! Ha.

Update August 4, 2013: I received the MRI report for Olivia's July 2013 MRI. The tumor has grown since the last MRI (FEb 2013)- it measures bigger and is bulkier. The MRI has been sent to the National Cancer Institute for volumetric assessment and we'll meet with Dr V. in a few weeks when the results are back. Olivia also has an appointment with an different ENT to talk about existing and potential problems associated with the tumor.
