"We are walking for our niece Olivia, who was diagnosed with NF1 at three months old. Olivia is now seven years old, and since being diagnosed has had tumors on the optic nerves in both her eyes, in her brain, and most recently a progressing tumor in her left ear and neck area. Despite this, Olivia does not let NF slow her down as she is a very active and happy kid. Our NF Hero enjoys swimming, riding her bike, reading and watching cartoons. As her parents say, "NF is part of Olivia’s life, but it isn’t her whole life." We’d wish for NF to not be part of anyone’s life, so Team Olivia walks to raise awareness, funds, advanced treatments and hopefully one day a cure."
