Happy Thanksgiving!
Since I'm actually posting this several days before Thanksgiving and we'll be visiting family on turkey day, here's a look at our first day of Thanksgiving vacation:
WHile I was making stuffing, Nyah was running a salon for the girls.
Home gymnastics
What could possibly go wrong?
The boy - isn't he adorable?
We are grateful for all our friends and family who love and support us! Love you all!

Game Day!
Kurt's hockey league was able to play one of their games at the Maverick Center, so we went to watch. He's #9.
We loved it when Kurt ended up in the penalty box :)

Roller Derby
The younger girls found Austin & Nyah's old rollerblades/skates in the garage and decided to take them for a spin, er, well, a halting roll from one support object the the next?
Olivia Update - Nov 14th
Olivia had an eye check up and her vision is wonderful: 20/20-20/25. The doctor mentioned he would never forget Olivia, which surprised me because appointments with him tend to be quick, to the point, and pretty impersonal. However, he said back when we had the chemo scare (scroll down to 2010), he was so worried about Olivia that he would wake up at night thinking about her. We are incredibly grateful we followed his recommendation for Olivia to have a second eye exam before dashing into surgery/chemo.
We're grateful for the process and procedures and professionalism of all the doctors who care for our sweet Olivia.
We are grateful for our fabulous girl!!

Hawaii 2013 - Animals
According to his owner, Maverick loves to hunt around the shallows looking for anything alive - sea cucumbers, crabs, fish - that he can drag up on the beach and play with.
Chickens, chickens everywhere!

Hawaii 2013 - Team Building
Team Orange
This is my only photo of the "take turns dressing in a mumu" dance competition, the videos of which I have been forbidden from posting. We also had to write & perform a team chant, design a flag, and build a boat out of flotation rings & bamboo sticks, then race across the lagoon.
Ukelele lessons
Sandcastle building - Kurt's team won!

Hawaii 2013 - Signs
Amusing Signage of Kauai
In the airport. Of course, I always travel with my piranha.
I love how this is posted on the edge of the cliff, in small letters, so I have to get closer to read it.
Trapped in my hotel room! In the early morning darkness I couldn't see the bolt at the top of the door and couldn't figure out how to open my door to go out for the sunrise.
Cracker, ha ha ha.
"Keep cats indoors" - right.
Hawaii state bird
At first glance, Kurt thought this said ".... or children"
