Running in the Rain

Jolie wanted to run a race with me so we did a local 5k. The weather was horrible- cold & windy & rainy. We started at the small reservoir in the background. It was lucky we hada coulke ponchos leftover from Austin & Nyah's last year's campouts. I don't think Jolie thought the 5k was much fun. Austin & I did the trail later in the week when it was sunny & nice- a huge difference!

Running a 5k with Mom- we started at the reservoir you can see in the distance & climbed a mountain! Aside from the rain and wind and cold, it was lots of fun!

Artsy Girls

I love my creative girls! I love their art style and passion and messes. Ok, maybe not the messes exactly, but I love how they aren't afraid to get messy. 

Acrylic paints: Sophie's are the 3 in the column on the right. Jolie's are the 2 in the middle of the bottom row. Olivia did the rest.

Little Girl Fun

While Austin & Nyah are in classes on Thursdays, the little girls and I have been having fun at some of our favorite places.

I forget what she was sooo upset about (it wasn't sitting on the sheep), but gotta love that adorable face!

Dirty Dash

Austin was supposed to run the Dirty Dash with me, but went to Texas with Kurt instead. So I took Jolie. She threw up in the car on our way to the race, so wasn't really feeling well. However, she insisted we still do the race when I said we'd better go home. She didn't do many of the mud pits, but she liked the climbing obstacles. I also think she really liked seeing her mom get dirty. 

She did get into the final mud pit with me.

While Austin & Nyah were off to Shakespeare Showdown, Kurt had a day off and we played with Olivia, Jolie & Sophie.

Howdy Neighbors! Sorry I've been gone from the blogging world for a bit- too many things going on in real life! Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I'm taking advantage of the holiday to catch up :) 

Way back at the end of October, Olivia & Jolie went to a Liberty Girls pioneer retreat and had a fabulous time.
