While the big kids & Kurt went to the sock shop, I took the little girls to the petting zoo.

Olivia says she doesn't like going on walks, but always has lots of fun once we get out the door.

She's always trying to talk me into taking her somewhere to get a treat- sometimes she doesn't have to do much convincing!

What's that? Oh, you'd like to hear about Olivia's MRI results? Yes, me too. And I'm constantly reassured they will come. Someday. 

Otherwise, Olivia is mostly wonderful. She wears her sunglasses when the light hurts her eyes. She gets tired before anyone of her siblings & wants to go home long before anyone else is ready. I've decided to veto speech & PT for the summer, so she can relax & have fun.

Running a 5k with Mom- we started at the reservoir you can see in the distance & climbed a mountain! Aside from the rain and wind and cold, it was lots of fun!

She found a dress at the store and changed in the  car. Still wears PJs when it's time to wash the dress. 

She pulled both of her loose teeth all by herself.

Nyah's show was a success!

Play time!

I've spent the last week as stage manager for Nyah's Shakespeare class play- Much Ado About Nothing- and we still have the performances this weekend! Nyah is Leonato, father of Hero. She hates being a man and wearing a beard, but she's fabulous! Her ability to remember her own lines and often the lines of everyone around her amaze me. Austin is the lighting tech- he's fabulous too! Especially for letting his mom volunteer him for another play!

These 3 chickadees have spent the week at friends' houses- lots of kittens, chickens, dogs, and kids to play with. Every day they've come home happy and dirty with lots of stories to share, but not tired at all! I'm pretty sure I was the first one asleep all week!

Zoo! Zoo! Zoo!

Austin & Nyah had a training in North Salt Lake, so Kurt & I took the girls to the zoo.  It was Earth Day, but because of the come & go rain it wasn't very busy. Surprisingly there weren't very many kids there- lots of teen prom groups.

The new baby lions weren't "out," but I lifted the girls up so they could see them over the fence.
