Kurt in France

While the kids & I were hiking, camping, riding, & playing at the zoo, Kurt was on a trip in France. 

We're glad he had a great time & made it home safely.

It pretty much rained the entire time we were there. Night was miserably cold & wet. But we did it! And then stopped at McD's for hot cocoa & lunch 5 minutes after we left.

Olivia, Jolie, & Sophie made kites & tried to fly them in the backyard.

Running in the Rain

Jolie wanted to run a race with me so we did a local 5k. The weather was horrible- cold & windy & rainy. We started at the small reservoir in the background. It was lucky we hada coulke ponchos leftover from Austin & Nyah's last year's campouts. I don't think Jolie thought the 5k was much fun. Austin & I did the trail later in the week when it was sunny & nice- a huge difference!
