Kurt not so subtly asked when I last updated the blog and I caught the hint. I know it's been a couple months, so I thought I'd give a quick update before posting about all the adventures we've had the last couple months.
Austin has been busy with his classes and activities and spending time with friends. He spends most days on the computer doing his math and programming class, reading & writing papers for his other classes, walking George, and then hangs out with friends when they are out of school. He's still taking Ballroom dance, attending Civil Air Patrol, and Nyah roped him into playing Tweedle Dum in Alice in Wonderland.
Nyah is currently involved with 3 plays (4 if you count her upcoming one time performance as Mary in our ward Nativity). She's playing the White Rabbit in a neighborhood group of Alice in Wonderland, she'll be Leonato in our commonwealth's Much Ado About Nothing, and she recently joined Up With Kids to be in Aladdin. She spends most of her days working on memorizing everything, writing stories, and working on art projects.
Olivia is busy every day- playing with her sisters and friends, doing her daily PT exercises and other exercise, mastering reading, playing games, singing songs, and working on art projects. Olivia likes fashion and loves looking at different clothes and styles. Overall, her health is really great and I'll post another update on all that another day.
Spunky Jo is usually the leader of her little band of merry sisters and friends. She organizes elaborate make-believe games and activities for anyone who's willing. She also spends her days mastering reading, playing games, singing songs, and working on art projects. Jolie loves learning about animals and spending as much time with them as possible.
Sophie loves cows and horses and dogs and playing with all her little toys animals. She goes with her sisters to play with friends sometimes, but just as often prefers to be at home playing by herself and sticking close to mom. She wears her PJs everywhere she goes. Like her sisters, she's busy each day with reading, games, singing, and art projects- preferably with a glue gun!
Kurt is working long and hard. He was in Australia for 10 days in November and came home with a nasty cold that seemed to last forever, but he finally is well again. He's super excited for his Christmas break!
As for me, well, I'm busy with all of the above! But I also manage to run every day, read a ton and work on my own art projects.
